What You’ll Find

The Atmosphere

Oak City Brewing is located in a renovated 1920s bungalow in historic downtown Knightdale. Inside is our tap room with 20 rotating taps and three warm and inviting rooms of tables and bars to sit and relax with friends and family. Outside is a patio area under a pergola with festive lighting, fans in the summer and heaters in cooler weather. We also have a large, fenced lot next to our brewery which is perfect for kids to run around, picnics and lawn games.

What is there to eat?

Oak City Brewing has a few snacks for sale, but you are free to order a pizza, bring in a smorgasbord, pack a picnic or chow down from the food truck on site.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

We ask that you please refrain from bringing your own alcohol. We have 20 different beers and ciders on tap with a range of styles as well as a selection of bottles. For the wine lovers out there, we have a small selection of wines for you to choose from. We’re sure we can find something you’ll enjoy. Don’t hesitate to ask us for a recommendation.

Are you kid friendly?

Kid friendly is our middle name. Not really, but we love kids at Oak City Brewing. The fenced in lot is perfect for kids to run around. Feel free to bring some lawn games, balls or tricycles. Meanwhile you can set up on blankets or chairs, or hang out on the patio on the picnic tables. Plus, with the park and playground right behind us, a beer might be a necessity after all that fun in the sun.

Are you dog friendly?

Yes we are! You and Fido will feel right at home in the Beer Garden – on the patio or out on the lawn. Just a bone’s throw away from the Knightdale Station Dog Park, you and your pup can have the best of both worlds.

What’s Nearby

Located directly behind the brewery is Knightdale Station Park on 76 acres of land that was converted from a tree nursery. The park offers a state of the art, train station themed playground for kids of all ages and two miles of paved hiking trails for the more adventurous. It’s the perfect way to begin or end a trip to the brewery. Want to learn more? Check out the website.
